Live dialog with key players

Or: Why an on-site visit to the industry trade fairs is worthwhile again after the pandemic abstinence ...

Digital presentations, virtual encounters and a permanent presence in social media are a must for every provider of products and services these days. Users and interested parties from the business world are also increasingly using these information channels. But the most efficient encounter of these two target groups still takes place at presence events.

We are not aliens ...

Meanwhile, the digital world has replaced many a step for us with the press of a button on a smartphone or PC. Progress is unstoppable. However, it takes a phone call, a video call, an eye-to-eye conversation or a meeting with like-minded people to distinguish us from aliens.

KeyPlayer

In focus: customer dialog

A responsible company boss, a clever salesman, an innovative service provider will never make and consolidate their decisions and orientations without dialog with partners and/or customers or without testing the product in the original. Vehicle manufacturers, parts dealers and technology developers are no exceptions. It is only logical that these groups are always to be found at the major international trade fairs such as IAA Transportation, transport logistic, bauma or Automechanika. Because that's where the pulse of time beats, where you can see what's feasible today and what's planned for the future ...

Expense and profit

Anyone who frequently attends trade shows knows that even in a world dominated by bits and bytes, it won't work without a live presence and face-to-face dialogs.

Where better to compare the latest commercial vehicle models than where they stand side by side and behind each other in all their beauty and show their strengths in demos?

Where, unlike in the case of web presentations, they can be examined and felt inside and out?

Where do not only well-versed salespeople, but above all practice-oriented developers and technicians explain to us how a crane unfolds at its highest, an Edscha TS sliding roof closes most quickly and safely, or a blind spot mirror works?

Competitive advantage

One thing is clear: knowledge is power and also costs something. This applies to both sides. The exhibitor pays high trade fair fees, and the transportation of people and machines is charged to his account.

But: Where does he reach the most and most interested customers? At the trade show!

And the visitor? He certainly doesn't want to waste his expensive time there, he wants to look specifically for new ideas and solutions for his job. And he wants to find what he is looking for there, in front of the real vehicle, in a conversation with the supplier, in order to gain an advantage over the competition. If he takes even a spark of innovation home with him, his journey and the time invested will have been well worth it. Admittedly: Neither supplier nor trade fair visitor can immediately calculate and book the profit. But the professional impulses that come from both sides of the trade show dialogue apply to tomorrow and the day after tomorrow. Because they come from practice for practice ...

The next trade fair is sure to come

Renowned big players in the industry hardly miss a trade fair. This is also true of Edscha TS, the traditional specialist in innovative soft top systems for road and rail transport and industry.

The visitor response at the recent IAA Transportation in Hanover or at many other international industry events keeps product developers and market strategists busy today and in the future. A bundle of innovations is currently being put together in the think tank of Edscha TS for the first major trade fair of this year, namely transport logistic 2023 in Munich. Many developments that have to do with functionality, sustainability or digitalization are the result of precisely those customer dialogs that have been conducted with trade fair visitors, i.e. practitioners looking for solutions.

It is safe to assume that there will once again be streams of visitors in the exhibition halls and that the exhibitor islands will once again be the scene of question-and-answer sessions lasting several minutes.

Perhaps we will see each other from May 9 to 12, 2023 at the transport logistic in Munich, at the Edscha TS booth A6.413 and at the Open-Air-Area 4-8, Open-Air-Spac FM.703/4 ...
