SB-Profi: For vehicles without bodywork
One of the highlights of the Edscha TS presentation at the IAA Transportation 2022 in Hanover will be the newly developed SB-Profi tarpaulin system. This sliding bar roof for vehicles without a body (but with a tarpaulin cover) allows one person to uncover the entire loading area from the ground in a matter of seconds. It allows quick loading and unloading from all sides and from above. The patented sliding bar canopy has tarpaulin-lifting cross-connections and durable casters that run on a sturdy flat iron rail, allowing the canopy to slide on both sides. In addition, these rails are designed in segments for easy maintenance and, compared to the previous version, offer the advantage that heavy-duty tensioning straps can easily be passed under the frame behind the rail for securing heavy, bulky cargo. Any winches fitted there can still be used without any functional restrictions. The required installation space is only 35 mm, which allows the system to be attached to standard 2.48 m wide frames.
QuickCurtain: New side curtain system
From practice - for practice! New in this segment: QuickCurtain. The QuickCurtain side curtain system is easy and very quick to operate and is equipped with a solid steel roller rail on the chassis. QuickCurtain runs on rollers not only at the top but also at the bottom of the chassis. And even the stanchions run on rollers. Dead center tensioners and separately operated stanchions are a thing of the past with this side curtain system. Incorporated vertical Kevlar tension belts between curtain rollers and lower roller anchors eliminate the need for side tuck-in profiles. This system is designed for all standard applications and also with form-fit loading according to EN12642 "XL" with proof by dynamic testing.
