Edscha TS and two strong partners
Edscha TS will also be present at NUFAM 2023 as market leader and innovator in the field of future-oriented soft top systems. This year, the company will present two key technologies in cooperation with long-standing trade partners. At the stand of Suer Nutzfahrzeugtechnik from Wermelskirchen (Hall 2 / A203), for example, visitors will find a great deal of detailed information on the subject of sliding bar systems. Suer Nutzfahrzeugtechnik is one of Europe's leading production and trading companies for vehicle components, vehicle lighting and load securing products. The company is commercially successful with its product range and has also worked on complementary in-house developments in recent years. https://www.suer.de/nufam-ticket
Hofmeister & Meincke is an equally strong Edscha TS specialist trading partner in northern Germany: Hofmeister & Meincke is a company of the FRICKE Group, headquartered in Heeslingen in Lower Saxony. Since 1908, the name Hofmeister & Meincke has stood for competence and reliability in the fields of commercial vehicle parts and vehicle construction systems and components. At NUFAM, the company will focus on providing information (Hall 2 / B209) about the Edscha Quick Curtain system. https://www.hofmei.de/
Both Suer and Hofmeister are technically experienced Edscha TS partners who offer professional support in many areas of modern soft top technology and spare parts supply.
Successful sliding bar soft top from Edscha TS at Suer
With the SB-Profi, soft top specialist Edscha TS is demonstrating at the Suer commercial vehicle technology stand how to further future-proof already successful solutions. The SB-Profi sliding roof is used for vehicles without a body but with a tarpaulin cover: a single person is able to uncover the entire loading area from the ground in a matter of seconds. This enables fast loading and unloading from all sides and from above.
High precision for fast work
< p>The patented product features tarp-lifting cross-connections and durable track rollers that run on a robust flat iron rail, allowing the canopy to slide on both sides. In addition, these rails are segmented for easy maintenance and offer the great advantage over the previous model that heavy-duty tensioning straps can easily be passed behind the rail under the frame to secure heavy, bulky cargo. Any winches fitted there can still be used without any functional restrictions. Newly calculated kinematics make it possible to further optimize the load volume. The package length is 25% of the length of the loading area. In addition, heavy-duty tensioning straps with receptacles under the frame can be used without functional restrictions. Incidentally, the tarpaulin for the SB-Profi is in three parts and is part of the scope of delivery. The new side curtain system as a guest at Hofmeister & Meineke
QuickCurtain from Edscha TS is the beginning of a new generation of side curtain systems. During the NUFAM you can find this system at the booth of Hofmeister & Meineke. It is quick, easy and uncomplicated to operate. And at the same time very adaptable. A new feature is that QuickCurtain runs on rollers both above and below. The rollers are guided by solid and very precisely manufactured flat iron roller rails. And another special feature: During installation, the usual approx. 20 dead center tensioners in the curtain and separately operated stanchions are completely dispensed with. In addition, the vertical Kevlar tensioning belts incorporated between the curtain rollers and the roller rail eliminate the need for any lateral insertion profiles.
Everything runs quickly.
The main features of QuickCurtain include convenient one-man operation and very smooth and fast opening of the side curtain in around one minute. Speed and safety are not dependent on the load volume. In addition, the system is very robust and easy to service. And it also features integrated load securing. Plug-in boards do not have to be used. The entire structure of the QuickCurtain system with vertical tensioning tubes on the bulkhead and rear portal is retained. The same applies to the Edscha TS roof rails (with SPR4 tarpaulin rollers). The system is supplemented by the new LP4 rolling stanchion and the lower rolling anchors on a curtain specially made by Edscha TS. The tarpaulin is part of the scope of delivery and can be labeled on request. This is also what makes the investment in the new tarpaulin covering systems so interesting.
