Optimal roofing systems for all types of load carriers are a prerequisite for logistics that function quickly and successfully. Special help is provided here by the SB-Profi, a further developed sliding bar roof for vehicles without a body but with a tarpaulin cover. A single person is able to uncover the entire loading area from the ground in a matter of seconds. This allows quick loading and unloading from all sides and from above.
Robust and durable
The patented sliding bar top offers plane-lifting cross-connections and durable casters that run on a sturdy flat iron rail, allowing the top to slide on both sides. In addition, these rails are designed in segments for easy maintenance and offer the great advantage over the previous model that heavy-duty tensioning straps can easily be passed under the frame behind the rail for securing heavy, bulky cargo. Any winches fitted there can still be used without any functional restrictions.
As before, only better
Users of the previous version of SB-Profi need make only minor changes. All the key features of the successful push-bar deck are retained and can be used as before. These include the modular design and a solid construction with segmented steel rails. The system remains vibration-resistant. The material is extremely durable and of high quality.
Trouble-free assembly
Another interesting feature of the new SB-Profi is the retention of assembly standards. Mounting on a 2480 mm standard chassis (for SB 2550 mm) is possible, as is connection to a standard CurtainSider end wall including tarpaulin tensioning system. The connection width is only 35 mm per side.
Easily exchangeable rollers
The easily exchangeable rollers are guided by a robust segmented flat iron rail and are characterized by very high precision and long service life.
New kinematics
Newly calculated kinematics make it possible to further optimize the loading volume. The package length is 25% of the length of the loading area. In addition, heavy-duty tensioning straps with receptacles under the frame can be used without any functional restrictions. Incidentally, the tarpaulin for the SB-Profi comes in three parts and is part of the scope of delivery.
